I sketched Ruby Ibarra and her band performing at our local PBS/NPR affiliate, and then made a painting from the drawing (and referred to some video of the event). Ibarra was a winner of the Tiny Desk Concert and put on a terrific show. I like to think I captured some of the energy that I felt being their in person.
