Each year the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation selects a small group of artists to paint heart sculptures that will be sold to raise money for innovative public health care programs. This year, I go to paint “Four Hills, Four Towers, Flowing Fog, Native Flowers” on a giant 400lb sculpture. I documented the whole process here.
The foundation will be hosting a free virtual event to celebrate the heroes who work at the city’s premier public hospital.
